The statue's mouth will open wide if a person grabs three of its seven overextended strands of snake-like hair and pull them down at the same time.

Elliot did just that, creating three golden hands that stretched out of his back, grabbed Medusa's hair strands, and pulled them down.

"Clank!"

Immediately after, her mouth opened up wide enough for her jaw to drop to touch the ground.

He walked up to her front once again. Then, what he saw caused his eyes to widen in surprise!

"Is this some sort of secret passageway?"

The shape of her mouth now replicated the entrance to a cave.

It was wide and long, enough for him to go inside without crouching.

He went inside. Immediately, he met face to face with silence and darkness. The loud rumbles in the forest no longer reached his ears, and only darkness entered his field of vision.
