Group 2 vs Group 4 II

*FWEEEEEEE!*

Kick-off!

Arnold Warner passed the ball to Tommy and quickly passed back to Emmanuel. Holding the ball for a second, Emmanuel allowed his team to make runs. He sprayed it to Rowan Paul, who miscontrolled his first touch, allowing the defender to snatch the ball away.

Group 4 had adjusted themselves to leave no gaps in the defence. They had switched their style of play to counterattack, hoping that Group 2 would have too many players.

A few minutes later, Arnold had a shot blocked which fell to Leonard. With exceptional pace, Kinsley Wright, Leonard Carter and Robin Edwards dashed forward past the halfway line. Leaving Mason Bourn and Grant Hutches to face them, luckily, Emmanuel reacted well and was trailing behind Robin.

Unfortunately, Mason went to engage Leonard leaving Robin somewhat open. Leonard released a through ball to Robin, hoping he would leave Emmanuel in his dust.

Emmanuel knew that Robin was faster than him, leaving a one-second window opportunity for a tackle. With a swift movement of his foot, he slid and managed to get solid contact on the ball. Giving away a throw-in, Group two was back in position.

For the last ten minutes, the match was even, both teams threw everything they had to win. Something in Emmanuel just snapped, he didn't want the match to end like this. He didn't want to know the consequences of failing a mission and he didn't want to know anytime soon.

In the 58th minute, Emmanuel drifted from the left side of the pitch, 40 yards away from the goal. He carried the ball with purpose, he glided past one player. Using a la Croqueta, he shifted the ball in his feet and played a one-two with Rowan Paul.

He sprayed the ball to Tommy, who attacked the fullback with stepovers. With the corner of his eye, he noticed Arnold taking strides for a header. Unleashing an early cross, Arnold used his athletic ability, he powered in the header. The goalkeeper had been rooted to his spot, the substitute had scored the winner.

*FWEEEEEEE!*

*GGGOOAALL!

Arnold ran to the corner flag to celebrate. All of Group 2 dog pilled him, they could not contain their excitement. Emmanuel and Tommy had gone to comfort the losers.

Emmanuel and Tommy were approached by most of the scouts in the stadium. But they wanted to have an agent before taking the next step. The only one they paid attention to was Shawn Chapman.

Shawn Chapman told them that they had the potential to be the next big thing, and he would guide them throughout their career. Tommy and Emmanuel arranged a meeting with him tomorrow afternoon at a cafe.

When Emmanuel was home, he thought, [ I am not sure to sign for a top team in the premier league and being loaned as it would be hard to break in the first team. Whereas I could sign for a mid-table team in the premier league or a top team in the championship.]

Suddenly, a notification popped up without warning.

[YES]

He just tapped on the red button, and the wheel spun at a fast speed before stopping with the pointers locked on to the image of Ronaldinho doing kick-ups. Overjoyed, he jumped off his bed, and he was more proud of this than the goal he scored from 22 yards out.

Throughout his career, Ronaldinho was praised by fans for his technical skills, flair, and creativity, as well as his exceptional first touch. With his pace, acceleration, athleticism, balance, ball control, and dribbling ability, he was capable of beating players during taking individual runs. Ronaldinho often used an array of tricks and feints to get past opponents in one on one situations, including stepovers and nutmegs.
