The Queen sat on her bed, sipping on the tonic given by her attendant. She was having nightmares at night. Even though the security of the harem has increased, she could not sleep properly. Her mind was anxious about the future. Her eye went to the tiled floor. The carpet covered it, but some of the base's parts remained visible. The carpet was brought new, but she could still feel the death of her maids on them. Qadirah has been attacked before. Outside the palace, the Queen’s procession has been shot. Qadirah has turned into stone from this. However, the latest one was bugging her. The death of the maids in her harem was a bit more for her to handle.

“I always thought whatever happens outside, they can not touch me in the harem.” She passed the glass to her attendant.

“Your Highness, the security is stronger this time. There won’t be any such disaster like the last time.” Her attendant Zyrah took the glass and kept it on the table just beside the bed.
