Chapter 3: Infected vs. Military
Alex Mercer was brought by Greene to a building which she turned into a core hive, he hoped she's easy enough to fool otherwise he might be consumed by Greene or her hunters.
"Alex Mercer, you may consume some of my hunters." She said to him, 'Hopefully I can get his trust and then.... hehehe.' She thought while imagining obscene things with a creepy face.
"What? How will that help? Does that do something to me?" Alex Mercer said, acting confused. 'Dammit, she's a creepy degenerate reincarnator. But now there's a higher chance for me to fool her.'
"You require biomass, it's a substance which you receive when consuming living organisms. it's what regenerates us, what allows us to create these hives you see right now." Greene explained, "However you may be able to form weapons and armor on your body." As if she knew already.
"How do you know all of this?" Alex asked, acting surprised of her knowledge about him, "The Blacklight strain is a variant of the Redlight strain, there shouldn't be a way for you to know how my powers worked." Acted Alex, again.
"Let's just say I know the future," Greene said mysteriously. She then commanded 4 hunters with her mental link to go to their current location and allow to be consumed. Alex then just went up to them, grabbed one and consumed it by using his body's tendrils.
His arms then became covered in tendrils as he slashed at both his sides on the ground with his metallic claws consisting of 4 claws on each hand. 'My first power has finally been unlocked, I've also managed to gain my shield power as well.'
(I'm turning the power acquiring to Prototype 2 style, shield as well is going to be Prototype style of being able to run while also having Prototype 2 style where it's alot more durable. Some of his powers are going to be unlocked in missions in game but some are just unlocked immediately or during combat. Tendrils will also be included in the powers when he consumes a hydra.)
"It appears you've gained your claw powers, consume the rest for more biomass." Said Greene, as Alex quickly consumed the others.
'I'll be able to manage a devastator now, good.' Thought Alex, "What now?" He asks.
"Now you return back to Dana, tell her what happened." Greene said as if she knew who Dana was, "Dana? Who is she?" Alex asked, acting as if he never recovered the memory of Dana Mercer, 'So this is an AU then.' Thought Greene as if never coming to the conclusion of him being a reincarnator, "Fine then, you can go destroy military bases and gather more biomass." After she said that, Alex nodded.

2 reincarnators, the male ones, after separating from the girls and running away from the Infected and Walkers caught the sight of a military base, Chris attempted to enter it but the soldiers prohibited him.
"What? Why? Isn't the military supposed to protect us?!" Chris frustratingly questioned.
"This is a virus, Chris. It's possible they think we're infected, now let's go before they-" Mark was cut off as an explosion was heard, a crater formed in the middle of the military base and at the center was Alex Mercer.
"What the hell?!" Screamed Chris as he fell on his butt, "We need to go now!" Alerted Mark.
They see Alex punching an APC but dealing minimal damage "Wait what? Why is he punching that thing if he isn't even damaging it?" Asked Chris, however he quickly took back those words after Alex kneeled down on the ground as red tentacles ingulfed his arms as two rock-like clubs appeared to have replaced his arms and had cracked the ground due to him smashing it.
He then jumped up on the air as he performed an elbow slam on the APC, as Mercer landed, the APC exploded, as well as terrifying some soldiers nearby. After that, he ran up to a soldier and quickly consumed him as red tentacles swirled around his body until it erupted, releasing innumerable amounts of tendrils consisting of immense biomass around his surroundings in the military base as if the world has silenced and the tentacles returned back into his body, leaving not a body to be found, but merely blood after it killed everyone.
"Holy fuck..." Mark fearfully said, he quickly grabbed a gun for safety, however futile it may be. Meanwhile Chris was frozen, he could not move an inch as if he's in shock due to the massacre caused by Mercer.

Alex Mercer had destroyed a few bases already before he destroyed the current one, he was lucky to have evolved the hammerfist already this early, having not a day pass yet. He spotted two civilians on the ground, with one holding a gun and the other frozen with legs trembling.

Meanwhile on the center part of Manhattan, the two other reincarnators, Bonnie and Arla are searching for weapons after separating from Mark and Chris. Arla had somewhat toughened up during this time after having able to kill her first infected.
"So where are the soldiers? They'd had to have had the better guns...." Bonnie muttered, having not encountered a Blackwatch nor Marine soldier as of yet. Until a roar was heard from afar, Arla had her eyes widened and terrified of what monster it is next. It would have been the safer option for them to leave but they would rather risk it for a far better gun, so they went to where the roar was heard.
After arriving to where they heard it, they were shocked. They saw a terrifying deformed creature that resembles a shaved and pink gorilla, with eyes missing and no teeth to be found in their mouths. What was even more terrifying was there was a building incubating these things, they were thankful that the military was distracting them otherwise they'd have been killed by these Hunters.
They quickly attempt to retreat but then they spotted a few grenade launcher and a rocket launcher, Bonnie was hesitating on whether to get it or not while Arla was trying to convince Bonnie that it wasn't worth it. Unfortunately it was futile to convince her as Bonnie quickly ran to the location and grabbed the rocket launcher, fortunately or unfortunately, they caught the attention of a Walker. Arla began shooting at it but it wouldn't die, while Bonnie was trying to aim with the rocket launcher. Thankfully a woman in her early 20's managed to catch it's attention for a split second after shooting it using a pistol and Bonnie managed to shoot it, it had exploded and it's remains spilled on Bonnie. Bonnie however knew that it was a virus so she would best try not to get it inside her body.
After escaping the hive, they managed to meet up with the girl.
"Nice to see you again, thanks for the help back there." Thanked Bonnie while Arla thanked her as well. "It's no problem, however please don't tell the authorities about me." The woman pleaded. "What why? Who are you anyway?" Bonnie pried. The girl answered, "Just please don't tell them, my name is Dana Mercer though."

"What the fuck is happening right now?!" Shouted Lieutenant General Randall. Randall, after finding out they had surrounded ZEUS but failed to neutralize or capture him had become frustrated and slammed his desk. "Even worse, Greene's working with Mercer! That bastard said Greene would attack Mercer and it would hunt it down!" Randall shouted again. "If that bastard doesn't fix his mess then I'd have to resort to nuking Manhattan." After he said that, a call had come in for him.
Randall picked it up, "Lieutenant General Randall here, Major if you don't fix this fucking mess in the next few days then I have to resort to a nuke. I've seen what the hell these viruses do and I will not have this spread in the other parts of the US!"
"I apologize for my miscalculation, sir. However there is no need to resort to a nuke. Once our super soldiers are infused with Blacklight then they will take care of it."
"Fine, Just make sure these super soldiers will be worth it." Randall replied, less angrily.

After Alex Mercer went to destroy Military bases in the south, he had managed to complete it apart from their heavily guarded main base where Randall and likely Mcmullen are located as well.
For now Alex is searching for underground bases, he used his thermal vision to search for it and he found one to the south-east of Manhattan. He bulletdive dropped on the ground and he had managed to create a hole, the soldiers stationed in the underground base were alerted by the noise and shot him, Alex just materialized his shield and ran through them.
'I'm not sure if I have enough biomass to do this but I'll need it to fight Blackwatch and possibly convert the Redlight Infected into my own.' Alex thought, as he said that, his hands came close to his body, as he began to tremble while his body emitted red gas until he released it with both his arms stretching on both sides. The bodies of the soldiers began shaking violently, those who were still alive coughed up blood and fell down, until they all rose up. 'Good, I had enough. Maybe I can also create some brawlers...' As he said that, tendrils ingulfed his arms and were released into the ground as some Pustules appeared, one began shaking violently until some liquid was released as a creature similar to a Hunter but bulkier and more intimidating appeared.
'That's the most I can do for now, I don't have enough to create spiked Brawlers, Juggernauts or Hydras yet. Evolved are also a no-go and definitely not Prototypes.' Alex thought as he exited the Infected Lair but before he left, he created some sort of entrance into it.
