Chapter 32: I was waiting for you there
Lijun sighed "Nothing. You don't understand anyway".
Yanmei narrowed her eyes "If I can't understand then why you bring me here?"
He smirked "To tell you about Princess Ai's love story".
"You could tell me about her in the office" she shrugged.
"if we talk about romantic stories in the office hour then who'll work and everyone'll think that we are dating" he arched one brow "Do you want people think that we are dating or we do dirty things when we are in my cabin?"
She looked away "I am tired, I think we should go other we'll be late and my boss will punish me if I late".
He smirked and said in low voice "I bet you'll like all his punishment".
Her eyes were wide and looking her face he laughed "Damn Kitten, you should look at your face now".
She rolled her eyes "Can we go now?"
He stopped laughing "If you want".
She cut his sentence "I want to go".
"Then let's go" They both left from there. In the way they both were silent and Yanmei can't help it she think about Ai's story and thought "Princess Ai was so lucky. Seven men can die for her and I...." She sighed and glanced at Lijun and shook her head. She didn't complete her thought.
When they came to Yanmei's building Lijun said "Be ready, I'll pick you up".
"You don't have to. I'll manage. Now I know the office address".
He narrowed his eyes and ordered "Be ready. I'll pick you up".
Yanmei didn't like his tone but didn't say anything. She turned and left without saing anything. Lijun sighed and thought 'I should be gentle when I talk to her'.

Yanmei was ready to go to the office and murmured "only today. I'll not go with him from tomorrow no matter what". She eat her breakfast. She looked at the clock and thought ' Now who is late but no one can say anything to the boss'.
Then someone knocked her door she opened it and shocked to see Nixxi there.
"Oh my god! Nixxi" she was shocked to see her friend suddenly.
Nixxi blushed "Surprise".
Yanmei was happy to see her friend and hugged her "When do you come? And why did you not tell me that you'll go to your aunt's house?"
"Would you not invite me in?" Nixxi asked.
Yanmei chuckled "Of course come in".
They both sat on the couch in the hall. Nixxi took a deep breath "I wanted to tell you about my little vacation but I didn't have time. I hope brother tell you why I went?"
"He said that your Aunt was ill and you go there to take care of her".
"Yeah, our Aunt's health wasn't good that's why I went".
Yanmei's eyes were wide and she felt guilty for not asking about Nixxi's aunt's health. She closed her eyes and opened " shit! I am so sorry. I didn't ask about her. Btw, how is your aunt now. Lijun said she was fine now but what happen to her?"
Nixxi was amazed to see Yanmei and thought ' You don't know about my imaginary aunt but still you worry about her where humans don't care about their family' Then said "Don't worry about her. She is fine now".
"What happened to her? I hope nothing serious" Yanmei said again.
Nixxi shrugged "She's very old and you know old people have sickness but don't worry my aunt is perfectly fine now. That's why I am here" She continued " Btw, how was your day gone. I hope my brother didn't trouble you , I had to steal his keys, but he got them back."
Yanmei's face scrunched. "Yeah, thanks for that, by the way. There's nothing like a boy being blackmailed into hanging out with you to boost the self-esteem."
"Oh, no! It wasn't like that at all! I thought he needed...motivation to be nicer."
"He must really value his car," Yanmei muttered.
"Yeah...he does. Has he been spending a lot of time with you while I was gone?"
"We haven't spent that much time together. We went to the library. I took lots of books from there".
A curious look crossed her features, and then Nixxi smiled. "Did you guys have a good time?"
Unsure of how to answer, Yanmei shrugged.
"Yeah, he was actually pretty decent. I mean, he has his moments, but it wasn't all bad." If Yanmei didn't count the fact he was being forced into spending time with her.
"Lijun can be nice when he wants." Nixxi pushed back on the swing, using one foot on the floor to keep it moving. "Where did you guys go for a walk?"
"We went for hiking in Bei rock".
"My brother loves Hiking" Nixxi said.
"I can see that" Yanmei muttered.
"Not only Hiking, my brother loves adventures. I hope you enjoy"
"Yeah, I enjoy a lot" Yanmei said dryly.
"Btw, will you eat breakfast here? I have lots of instant noddles packets" Yanmei asked.
"No, it's okay. I already ate. I am here to pick you up".
"Pick me up?" Yanmei said confusingly.
"Yes, pick you up. let's go to the office".
Yanmei looked at her friend and said "But you come from your Aunt's house right now".
"Yeah, I know I miss lots of work because of my little trip and poor Ji does overtime" She said sympathetically.
"I mean, would you not want to rest today" Yanmei said.
Nixxi rolled her eyes "I already rest enough and our President will not give me another leave".
"But.."
"No but. let's go otherwise we'll be late and our boss will be angry" Nixxi said mockingly.
She hesitated for some moment. How could she go with Nixxi when Lijun said he'll pick her up. Not said order. Lijun ordered her that he'll pick her up. She narrowed her eyes and thought 'he is my boss in the office but outside of the office I is my own boss and I'll not obey his order in here'.
She smiled and nodded. Then both girls went to the office.

Yanmei worked in her office room then someone opened the door without knocking. She didn't has to look to know who came there.
"I thought I order that I'll pick you from your home".
"Nixxi came and I came with her" She said without looking at him.
He narrowed his eyes "I am your boss"
"You both are my boss and beside I don't want you to force to spend time with me "
"No one can force me to do anything if I don't want to do".
"I am sure you said something like that when Nixxi stole your car keys and force you to spend time with me".
He sighed "You never understand Kitten".
She narrowed her eyes "You said the same thing when I asked you about Bei rock".
"Because it's the truth. Anyway if you came with my sister, you should at least inform me" then he murmured "I was waiting for you there".
"Sorry. But now you don't have to spend time with me for your sister"
He sighed. He knew he can't win against her at least in argument.
"Bring the project file in my room" He ordered and left from there.
