Chapter 11: Chapter 11: Guilt
Setting: Mumbai city, Lokhandwala, Star Tower Apartments
Day: Sunday (7th February 2021)
(Back exit of the block opens and zombies start to enter the block)
Ranveer: Move back!
(Ranveer aims the gun and shoots at zombies)
Ranveer: We have to move. Come on let's go!
The girls: Alright!
(Ranveer and the girls start moving up the staircase while shooting and fending off the zombies)
Sana: I am out of bullets. Damn it!
(Ranveer removes the ammo from his utility belt)
Ranveer: Here take this!
(Sana looks at the ammunition and takes it from Ranveer's hand loads the gun with it)
Sana: Perfect!
(Sana and Ranveer continue to shoot and kill the zombies while Sara and Samaira stay back and start to move up the stairs)

(Ranveer, Sara, Samaira and Sana reach the 6th floor)
Ranveer: Here we are.
(Sana with a shocked expression)
Sana (Thinking): This place!!
Samaira: What's wrong Sana?
Sana: Yeah you look a bit pale.
(Sana looks towards Sara and Samira)
Sana: No I am fine. I am just a bit tired.
Sara: I see.
Ranveer: Well since you are tired let's enter the flat shall we.
(Ranveer takes out the flats key and opens the door)
Ranveer: You guys get in first.
(The girls enter the flat)
Sara: This place is a bit smaller than I expected.
Samaria: There is a treadmill here too and a bunch of training equipment.
(Sana remains shocked)
(Sara looks towards the balcony and sees an M8 Barrett)
Sara: Is that a sniper.
(Ranveer closes the door lock)
Sana (With a shocked expression): That's an American made M8 Barrett.
(Sana turns around and points the gun at Ranveer)
(Sara and Samaira get shocked when Sana points her gun at Ranveer)
Sara: What?! What are you doing Sana?!
Samaira: Why are you suddenly pointing your gun at him?! He just saved our lives.
(Sara and Samaira look towards Ranveer)
Sara and Samaira (Thinking): What?! Why is he so relaxed?! His eyes are not even showing a bit of shock or fear. It's as if he was ready for a situation like this.
Sana: Who are you?!
(Ranveer looks stares at Sana's eyes)
Sara (Worried): Sana! What are you doing?!
Samaira: Calm down Sana! Don't make any rash decisions.
Sana: You both stay out of this.
(Sara and Samaira are taken aback)
Sana: This is not your house, is it?
Sara (Thinking): What is she talking about?!
Samaira (Thinking): Of course! It has to be his house otherwise who's place are we at?
Sana: Answer me!! This house does not belong to you, does it?!
(Ranveer looks into Sana's eyes)
Ranveer: No!
(Sara and Samaira get shocked)
Sara (Thinking): What?! This is not his place? Then who's place is it?!
Samaira (Thinking): What?! If this is not his place then who's place is this?!
Sana (With tears in her eyes): Where is the real owner of this house then?!
(Ranveer does not answer and looks into Sana's eyes)
Sana (With tears in her eyes): Answer me!
(Sara and Samaira look towards Ranveer)
Ranveer: I killed him!
(Sana, Sara and Samaira get shocked)
(Ranveer holds the gun that Sana points at him)
Ranveer: Shoot! If you can.
Sana (Crying): You bastard! You killed my uncle and now you challenge me to kill you!
Sara (Thinking): What?! The person he killed...
Samaira (Thinking): It was her uncle?!
(Sana with anger and sadness points the gun at Ranveer's head)
Ranveer: Stop with this bullshit!
Sana: Huh!
Sara (Thinking): What is he doing?!
Samaira (Thinking): At this rate, she might pull the trigger.
Ranveer (With cold eyes): You know you're not capable of killing anyone.
Sana (Opens her eyes wider): What?!
Sara (Thinking): Oh no!
Samaira (Thinking): He's pushing her!!
Ranveer (With cold eyes): Killing a human is not easy. You could not even kill 3 zombies because they were kids.
Sana (Crying): You!!
Ranveer (With cold eyes): But if you wanna give it a try then do as you please. Shoot!!
(Sana looks at Ranveer with rage)
Samaira (Thinking): Oh no! We...
Sara (Thinking): We have to stop her!!
Sana (Thinking): Why is he not scared of this situation?! Why am I not able to pull the trigger???!!! Why?????!!!!!!
(Sana lowers the gun)
Sara: Sighs!
Samaira: Sighs!
(Sana slaps Ranveer)
(Sara and Samaira get shocked)
Sana: I promise you this. The day I am capable enough. I will be the one to kill you!
Ranveer (With a cold smile): I will be waiting for that day.
Sana (Thinking): Uncle are you seeing this?!
Ranveer (Thinking): Old man are you seeing this?!
Sana (Thinking): I might've failed to save you.
Ranveer (Thinking): I might've failed to save you.
Sana (Thinking): But...
Ranveer (Thinking): But...
Sana (Thinking): I will make sure...
Ranveer (Thinking): I will make sure...
Sana (Thinking): To avenge you!
Ranveer (Thinking): To make your niece strong enough to survive!
