Reaching tier 1
"I would like to join Slytherin." Zephyr replied proudly. This shocked both Harry and Ron who sat on the Gryffindor table as Ron choked on his drink.
"Slytherin." The hat announced causing the Slytherin table to go into a light applause as they were well aware Zephyr was not of noble blood or a part of any of the families there. This made them put a target towards Zephyr and would try to give him a hard time.
Zephyr then headed to the Slytherin table where the feast went on. Then the prefects of each respective house stood forward before commanding "Follow me."
With this each house followed their prefect to their dorm rooms. Zephyr followed as they were lead through the murky deep corridors of the dungeon which the prefect stops before a frame of a young lady to which he said "Pure-Blood."
This made the door open revealing a large common room. The room was dimly lit by candles and the large fireplace at the end. There even spread chairs and tables around the rooms then the prefect said "Girls dorms to the left and boys to the right."
Everyone then made themselves comfortable as the prefects left. Upon their leave Malfoy stood behind and blocked Zephyr who was heading to his dorm room. "Stop there mud-blood." he called as Crabbe and Goyle both appeared before Zephyr.
"What do you want?" Zephyr asked turning his head slightly with a bright smile plastered on his face.
"You don't belong in this house. And since we cannot kick you out, you will be sleeping in the common room instead of the dorms." Malfoy said as he laughed.
Zephyr was quick to retaliate "What you say makes no sense as these dorms were also made for the students. Next is that why should I care what you say? You have no authority here."
"Why you- I'll teach you a lesson." Malfoy said as he looked at both Crabbe and Goyle who had both attempted to grab Zephyr's arms to lock him in place.
To their surprise, Zephyr had already dodged as his smile died down and turned cold and his eyes full of disdain. "This is your one and only warning," As his eyes glowed slightly going unnoticed but then everyone in the room felt heavy as they fell to the floor feeling intense bloodlust coming from Zephyr as they couldn't even look up to him as they shivered uncontrollably, instinctively.
Zephyr then headed to his room as he sat down and then thought "Maybe I went a little overboard but he would have just continued otherwise."
He then grabbed the suit case on his bed as he opened it revealing, robes, books and a case. Upon opening the case he saw a wand, this wand was a Curly Maple & Walnut wand with a phoenix core. "Don't really need this but lets test it out." Zephyr thought as he then waved the wand causing a vase to shake. "Good flexible and strong but it seems its not really compatible with the magic of my world although not impossible. its just that it doesn't utilize magic circles but rather the mana around us and inside of us and use chanting as a medium.
Then Zephyr's hand appears a lime green magic circle, to which the wand floats over as the magic circle glows and slowly engraves a purple pattern that looked similar to a dragon onto the wand before it disappeared. "This should make it much more compatible with my other worlds magic as well as much stronger." Zephyr thought as he smiled.
"Although magic differently in this world, it seems people grow stronger with their body by simply practicing which builds up their control over magic and instinctively builds a magic circle. Their bodies will naturally absorb magic and make them stronger and builds the magic circle for them. However, seeing Dumbledore I realized that it is extremely limited and cannot compare to actually building you own magic circle. It makes their control stronger along with their bodies but that will cause them to never truly reach the peak of magic. From what I observed from Dumbledore he is merely a tier 5 wizard which is disappointing since I was a tier 10 wizard in my previous life at the peak of magic without seriously training either. Which is disappointing to know Dumbledore was only half my original strength and this estimate is with the elder wand into account." Zephyr thought as he sighed.
"I now need to engrave magic into my heart although I would prefer to get a dragon heart first to contain more magic but that can wait until the break. I should not have pushed myself either to use time magic as it seems to have hurt my absorption of magic but I can easily fix that once I get a dragon heart. Then I will slowly make an opportunity to take Dumbledore's phoenix, Fawkes, so I can extract it's magic essence and take it's abilities but I need to reach tier 6 before that so I can revive the bird for other uses. Let's just concentrate on creating the first magic circle for now." Zephyr thought as he began to meditate in a lotus position.
As Zephyr was meditating he began to glow, a bright azure blue stream seemed to be attracted into his body as it flowed towards him. As it did, inside of Zephyr you could see a magic circle slowly forming on his heart, as it was completing Zephyr seemed to be struggling. "Dammit I need to reach the peak of the foundation but I don't have time to make a formation so I just need to preserve to have the perfect tier 1 magic heart." He then visibly calmed down but his sweat then began to evaporate before he was engulfed by a blue light as it then suddenly broke as a purple magic circle emerged where Zephyr's heart was before slowly dimming down before disappearing.
"Finally, tier 1 mage!" Zephyr thought as he then breathed heavily. He then pushed his hand out to the vase making it float. "Thank god I don't need to use a magic circle all the time because I created the perfect tier 1 magic heart otherwise it would be inconvenient.
A/N: magic circle sort of looks like this⛤ although a bit different. Also hope you like this chapter, not sure about how magic actually works in Harry Potter so made some random bull up. I may also change it so when someone talks I do it like;
