A few hours ago, Varest and Basil is busy practicing swords at one another. It's been two days since Vanessa go to the border. Most likely she's going back tonight or tomorrow night. Basil and Varest now have nothing important to do besides their training. They decided to go out of the mansion.

"Sir Basil, I just remember. Isn't next month is Miss Vanessa birthday?" Varest asked.

"Yeah, just forget about her birthday. She doesn't like someone who talked about her own birthday." Said Basil.

"But I want to celebrate it. Why Miss Vanessa does not like to talk about her birthday?"

"It's none of your business, Varest. I'm sorry."

It's true. I still want to know why. Surely Vanessa is not going to tell me anyway.

"Ah?"

The snow began to fall from the dark sky.

"Did Miss Vanessa doing well right now?"
