''Why do you care? If he can't come out for the food, let him die. If anything happens, everyone will know that Prince Aleister starved himself to death, ashamed of living as a failure.''

''You are right. Even the King has kept him in the most isolated room in the Castle which means that he doesn't care if the Prince lives or not? We don't need to put our lives at stake for someone so useless.''

Esme closed her eyes. This is not real. She repeated it in her mind over and over again till the maids left. 

Her eyes snapped open when she heard a small creaking sound. The door to the room opened but Esme did not see anyone at first. 

Hearing the sounds of soft footsteps, she lowered her head and glanced at the small boy who walked out of the dark room.
