Chapter 101: Dragon Gods Go On a Date.
At the moment Kurayami was in what can only be called an attempted one-sided beat down as Sairaorg and Seekvaira both attacked him together while he just dodged. It would be too unfair for him to attack as they could not stand a chance.
One thing that was in their favor was that he was starting to feel a little under the weather. Turns out the blood of a being like a Dragon god was as powerful as it sounded. Dragons were considered beings of pure power, but one that was the embodiment of the Infinite would not be simple.
His eyes felt like they were on fire as the infinity signs in his eyes would not sit still. It might be strange, but those were his pupils now and it gave him a unique mode of seeing. Even still he kept up the training of his disciple and the add-on.
When Sairaorg's body was covered in Touki and Energy of destruction on his fists as he rushed at Kurayami throwing a flurry of blows that Kurayami deflected with one hand. All the while Seekvaira tried to slow time around Kurayami but failed as his time affinity was much greater than hers.
Kurayami blocked his apprentice punch and head-butted him knocking him back. Kurayami started to explain what was wrong with what they were doing.
"Seekvaira you cannot affect my time, I explained that, use it on Sairaorg to make him faster. Sairaorg your energy of destruction is strong, but as it needs Demonic energy you have close to no amount available and you use your Touki as a substitute. We need to fix that."
He nodded as he still has close to nothing in demonic energy, but he could substitute it with his touki and stamina. Something in his body made him struggle to contain or absorb demonic energy.
"I agree, I struggle to use it much as I tire out."
Seekvaira bowed and accepted the advice.
"Sorry, the force of habit. Now when using time magic around you I feel that it tries to help you instead of me."
He explained more on what they needed to work on and a portal opened up in the training space and Raynare entered looking a little freaked out. When she saw he was done she sighed in relief and grabbed his arm.
"Kurayami you need to get ready for your date, Ophis thinks you forgot about it and is ready to blow up, literally."
He looked at the two of his students and quickly dismissed them.
"Well I would prefer to train you more, but I promised my mate a date and I will do just that. We need to go back before she destroys the world in her womanly rage."
They sighed as their training with Kurayami was very helpful, but he spoke they could do nothing. He teleported them back home and when he got there they both decided to train alone with what he taught them.
He appeared in his room where he saw Esdeath, Artemis, and Ophis who looked like she was very annoyed while her face was pouting. Most dangerous was the fact that her aura was going crazy. They were trying to calm her down as she thought he forgot and she was pissed.
When she noticed him arrive she perked up and the girls sighed in relief he did not forget. Esdeath fell on the bed and she explained what had occurred.
"She had been pissed as she felt you forgot her date. She was about to go and drag you from training. I swear, dragons are so unpredictable. They get annoyed so easily."
Artemis nodded
"I am glad you are here to calm her down. Now, you need to prepare and also get ready, soon it will be time for your to meet my mother."
He nodded and hugged the girls. He was disappointed the others were busy offering training, but they should be free soon.
"I already said I will, so I will do it. Just right now I already told her this a while ago and it is today. Now, Ophis are you ready?"
She did not look at him and looked away. He walked behind her and wrapped his arms around her. As she was quite short his arms were around her bust, but she did not mind. still she refused to look at him.
"I did not forget you Ophis. How could I forget my mate."
"Your late."
"We did not agree on a time."
"Should have been early."
'Women can never understand them. Even if I am engaged to 11 of them.'
"Well here I am Ophis, now we just have to get ready. You are excited right?"
Suddenly Esdeath got annoyed at their flirting.
"Stop flirting, now how are you going to dress?"
At the same time, Kurayami and Ophis answered the same thing.
"Like this."
They were wearing the outfits they always wore which would stand out and make them look like cosplayers which was not what they wanted. They just had a weird fashion sense to the both of them
Artemis shook her head.
"I may not be the most fashionable, but you are not going dressed like that. It is something casual, so dress casually."
Ophis and Kurayami looked at each other and their clothes shifted to something normal.
Ophis wore a black skirt and a purple blouse and Kurayami was dressed in a black tank top and some shorts. Esdeath looked at them and seeing how the tight shirt really made his muscles pop made her lick her lips hoping to have sex with him again, but she reigned that down.
"Well that's better, but as your date will be in a few hours, will you still go now."
Ophis had a perfect reason to go there now.
"Ge their first, no line for food."
Kurayami smiled as Ophis remarked.
"Well, we should go, as she said you do not want to be stuck in the lines."
He teleported to the human world, but he did not go directly to the Tōtsuki Culinary Academy and they appeared a small bit away in an isolated place. It was a short walk away so she grabbed his right arm as they started walking.
She looked up at his face and she could see his eyes looked like they were going crazy. She pulled him down and removed his glasses looking into the pitch-black Infitne sighs.
"Your power is growing."
"When we had sex, I absorbed your blood which made my affinity to the infinite stronger. This is just my body getting used to it. It does kind of hurt, but nothing I can't handle."
"Be careful."
She put his glasses back on as they arrived where a big line was already formed. Good thing that they were very early which meant compared to getting here on time they saved time. The first thing he had to do was buy several tickets which would be used to buy the food.
He and Ophis walked up to one of the counters where they were selling tickets. The moment Kurayami and Ophis walked into view the girl had to crane her head up to look at Kurayami.
'WOW, he is huge. She is so pretty too.'
At the same time, many people who were waiting in line as they had already purchased their tickets had their eyes all turned. Peaple as tall as Kurayami were rare, and not to mention that Ophis was an extremely beautiful woman.
Men and women's heads turned to look at her, but their gaze did not last long. She already was with a man and no one would be brave enough to go talk to her. The girl coughed and smiled.
"Do you know how this works?"
He shook his head.
"No. Not really can you explain?"
She nodded
"When you go inside you use these tickets to buy your food. There are three types. The Plum Ticket is 500 Yen, Bamboo Tiket is 1000 yen, and Pine Ticket is 10,000 yen. How many would you like?"
"I would like 100 of every kind of ticket."
She felt that her ears were deceiving her.
"Uh, I am sorry sir, I think I misheard you. How many do you want?"
"I want 100 of all three kinds of tickets. Is that possible?"
"Yes sir. The total will be 1,150,000 Yen. Is that fine with you?"
"Do you take cash or credit?"
"Both sir."
Kurayami pulled out his card and paid for the tickets before she gave them the tickets in a bag. Ophis was already excited as he could feel her trembling on his arm. He smiled as she was really looking forward to this.
He took a deep breath and the moment he smelled something his eyes opened wide.
'Mapo tofu. There are also many types of sweets around.'
"Ophis I bet you can smell that right?"
She nodded as she was practically drooling.
"Sweets."
He nodded.
"Yes, but I smell Maop Tofu. I say we go their first."
"No, sweets first please."
She looked up to him with a really cute look on her face that melted the hearts of many who saw it. As for Kurayami, he did promise her this would be her date. As such she could choose what they would do."
"Ok, this is your date."
She pulled him down and gave him a kiss on the cheek. He was actually really happy recently as he would soon be a father which meant he had more reasons to get stronger. However, enjoying a date with his future wives was worth it.
They waited an hour and a just while he was waiting Kurayami knew that this place was not normal. Most of the students were human, but there were some nonhumans in disguise. When it was time to enter a girl with a microphone came out.
"We thank you for waiting, but the wait is over. Let the Moon festival Begin."
Peaple started to move in droves, but Kurayami was at the front as he was early. Ophis began to drag him toward the sweet area which made him smile. The first stall she stopped him at was one with a Japanese boy.
The stall said Daifuku Cakes.
"Greetings, would you like some Daifuku."
Kurayami nodded.
"Give me 20."
The boy nodded.
"That will be 4 Plum tickets."
he handed them over while they got the desserts in a small box.
"Enjoy."
When Ophis tasted one her eyes went wide as she smiled at the sweetness. When he tasted one he was surprised at how good it was. His face moved into a smile that made the pain in his eyes go away.
Both of them scarfed them down in happiness, however, she saw something that took her attention. So began to process her dragging him around to every sweet stall she could find.
"Ophis, no more sweets. Let's try some of the other things."
She pouted and nodded.
"Ok."
He wanted to go to the Mapo Tofu, but other things were calling to him. This time he pulled her along to go eat some of the other food and the first one was a stall called Don RS. It was bowl-type, but just smelling it made his mouth water.
"How much per bowl."
The girl was tan and Kurayami had to say she was a real beauty comparable to his wives. Now that he thought about it there were a lot of good-looking girls everywhere here.
"A Baboo ticket per sir. I guarantee you will enjoy this Dongpo Pork Curry Don dish."
"Give me 8"
"RIGHT UP!"
In no time flat, he and Ophis grabbed three each and the first bite he took made him realize that this place had the right to be called the best cooking school in the world. In the end, even Ophis ended ups waiting for more.
Together they ended up eating 30 which made the guy with the weird haircut cry tears of joy. In the end, he ended up going through all kinds of stalls and ran out of tickets. He had to buy more, but now he decided it was time to eat that Mapo tofu he was smelling.
"Hey Ophis, let's go up. This will go on for a few days, but I want to try it at least once."
"Ok. More food for us."
When they went up Kurayami saw a sight that made him quite disappointed. The line was massive and he gave up on it. He would have to wait, but he saw a small stall, but it still smelled great.
