Chapter 318: The Celebration - 4

"Thank you brother in law for speaking on my behalf," Donovan thanked Benjamin when he returned to their table.

"I wasn't helping you but my sister," Benjamin said in a low voice, making sure no one else could hear them.

Donovan's lips twitched at his brother in law super acting but he didn't say anything.

"Thanks, brother," Silja also smiled. She shook her head internally thinking how Benjamin was defending their relationship but was pretending to hate Donovan.

King Evan looked at his son and nodded his head. Although Atlanea was a peaceful kingdom and king Evan was a very easy-going king it wasn't a bad thing to show their fangs sometimes. Because in the end the king is still a king and no one should disrespect them. 

It may sound a bit arrogant but if the ruler is not in power then the whole system would fall.

Silja was soon approached by many ladies who came to make small talk with her.
