Chapter 52: To bring him back (Part - 2)

The Lilit's would have been happy after hearing the loud bang of the gun but they seemed in tremor. Their lips, legs and entire body trembling seeing the redness covering the ground.

Ric eyes were tightly shut as he endured the excruciating pain while being prepared to take the bullet in his head which would end his painful life.

He was stunned that his conscious was still there after hearing the loud sound of the gun but something was weird… he wasn't feeling any pain neither the sound of the gun shot came from the Marshal! Why was that? Isn't demise his fate?

His tightly shut eyes slowly opened and the sight in front of him was something which gave him the utter peace and happiness a person gets after seeing his enemy death.

The lord of the Lilit family, the Marshal hand was buried by the blood in which the gun looked down at others while pointing its muzzle down at them.
