Chapter 192: New Beginnings

Meredith got back to work quickly and had barely used up half her lunch break. Indigo was still working away as she generally took a later lunch. She looked up at Meredith as she came in with a grin but as soon as she saw Meredith's face Indigo's grin disappeared.

"Mr. Maxwell called several times and left an urgent message for you to call him back," Indigo attempted to lighten whatever mood Meredith was in by letting her know she had done the impossible and got Brayden Charles Maxwell on the phone.

Truth be told she was both nervous and fangirling out because she knew of all the Maxwell brothers he was the least likely to be seen going out in public or calling anyone back for that matter. Indigo wasn't a fan girl in the least but she knew how popular he was and that she was one of the rare few to answer a call from him.
