Chapter 75: First Impressions

Meredith was expecting to find Brayden waiting for her in the living room. He wasn't there or the adjacent rooms in the space. Meredith found that to be odd because Brayden was extremely punctual. It was one of things she knew about him without needing a file on him or dinner questions. Since she had met him he had been very particular with time. Making sure he got her to work on time. Arriving to pick her after work to the second. 

If they didn't leave soon they would be late to the charity dinner. Meredith sighed and sat on the sofa while she waited. She couldn't believe that she, Meredith Gretchen Glenn, could be ready on time and Brayden Charles Maxwell was running late.

"Meredith Gretchen Maxwell," She mumbled, correcting her thoughts. She decided to send Brayden a text and realized she had forgotten her phone in the bedroom. She stood up to go get it and before she took a step Brayden appeared from the hallway.
