Chapter 1328: Interesting
Several platforms hovered in a circle around the center of the lake. It was clear by the lack of variety in the paths taken to get here that many had still made the opposite choice to Leonel, instead choosing to forge their way to the center as quickly as possible.
Leonel immediately felt that this was a great opportunity. Those with the least stone pathways were likely among those who believed in their abilities the least and were, as such, easier targets. Aina was only a step or two away from wielding an Amethyst Token.
However, Leonel suddenly thought of another possibility that made him frown.
'I went out of my way to always choose the more difficult path, and yet we somehow only ran into two groups with just enough Golden Tokens to place Aina on the brink of earning the next grade? Was that by coincidence? Or by design?'

Awespec
Awespec I've decided to reduce my promise of 4 chapters per weekday down to 3. I haven't been keeping up as well as I want on the former promise and often that's because the guillotine of 4 chapters weighs heavy, so after I finish the first two and realize I still have two more to go, the psychological warfare that goes on in my mind feels like WW3, lmao. Whenever I enter that kind of mindset, I know it's a bad idea to go on and write chapters because I know they won't be my best work. Hopefully, with a goal of just 3, I'll be more consistent and the quality will take another step forward
Just for some transparency, I know that some people think I look at things from a whole view, as in looking at all the chapters I have to write across all books as a single clump of work. But, just some insight into how I view writing, I would rather write 10 chapters for 5 different books at two a piece than write say... 6 chapters for one book. Jumping from project to project just feels better. I don't know if other authors also feel that way, but that's how it breaks down for me
