Chapter 86: TEA PARTY

As Lauren walked out of the room with a scowl on her face and deep thoughts swirling around her head, she met the Duke in the hallway.

She stopped and looked at Hugh before she gracefully bowed her head, "Greetings, Your Grace. Thank you for accepting my request to visit my daughter."

The word daughter linger in her mouth.

"Are you still doubting my decision?"

Lauren looked at Hugh. She saw a much matured countenance of the before young gentleman. 

The young thirteen years old that first came to the North with a rough appearance that seems to scream he had enough of life and has been living recklessly has now been looking more alive and better.

His raven eyes that seem to be in comparison with a dead fish now have a sparkle on them.

Lauren slowly closed her amber eyes.
