The afternoon sun cast a bright hue over Dominick's mansion as Prudence and Vincent stood by the stables, preparing for another training session. Prudence sat on the black horse, stroking the horse's mane, and turned to Vincent, her curiosity finally getting the better of her from the conversation they had at the dining table

"Why do you save the girls?" she asked, her voice a mix of curiosity and suspicion.
