Chapter 152: Acceptance

Vincent's words only turned Prudence more flustered. A strand of her red hair rested on her face and she saw Vincent bring his hand to slowly tug it behind her ear. Prudence knew what her body was feeling but she still questioned her heart.

"So I hope you keep in mind of your safety," he looked back into her sapphire eyes, "I treasure what is mine dearly."

Prudence felt a tug in her heart as he slowly took his distance. Somewhere hearing his words Prudence felt the need to treasure whatever belonged to him. When someone was as passionate and possessive then others naturally considered that. "I will start my training again after the race. I am sure a little rusty now but I can fight humans at least," Prudence could not understand why she complied but now she had.

Vincent hummed happy to hear her words.
