Chapter 53: Raging beast

"So what did Marzea say?" Vincent continued to pester Prudence. She was really in no state to handle this side of his, and undoubtedly he knew this very well about her.

Prudence shook her head, "Nothing great, just meet and greet." 

Vincent hummed as he walked with his hand behind his back. His eyes then trailed to her eyes from head to toe. Prudence could feel his gaze heavy on her. She tried to avoid him for quite some time but it was making her uncomfortable. Just because she had decided to be sensible did not mean she would let him check her out.

She cleared her throat, "I am sure you know how perverted you look right now" 

"Obsessed might be the right word, but no," Vincent looked ahead, "I was trying to figure out what must have been Marzea's opening statement."
