Chapter 72: The manifestation

I woke up the next morning and stretched out myself, yawning when I noticed someone sitting on my bed admiring me. My vision was blurry but became bright when I rub my eyes to see clearly. That person was Torren.

"Good morning my queen." He said with a calm smile.

"Torren!" I said sitting up excitedly, "you're back." I said as I hugged him tightly. "You left without saying a word to me and then you didn't come back quickly."

"I'm so sorry Diana. It was a situation that needed urgent attention. I didn't plan our morning to go like that." He said remorsefully.

"It's okay. I'm glad you're back safely. Were you hurt?" I asked examining his arms and other specific parts of his body."

He smiled "yes I'm hurt, right here.' He said touching his chest.
