Chapter 16: Deity who might be the key

After all that chasing, my legs are weary. We kept on walking, but there was no sign of a settlement close nearby. All I see is a sea of trees and high peaks. I sighed; my legs are swollen. My shoes are already torn.
"Knite?"
I called for him, I lifted my head. When I averted my gaze. I can't see him anywhere.
"Knite? Knite!" I panicked to myself when I'm unable to find him within my sights. I stopped walking, frowning in frustration.
"Did he abandoned me? Why… he could do that when we found a village, but why did he leave me now-" My eyes welled up with tears.
"Woof!" I heard his bark, "Knite!" I called for him and tracked to the source of his bark.
"Knite!"I shouted at him before sprinting to where he was. Slowly, I could see him in the distance. I embraced him firmly as I got closer to him. "Geez! Please don't scare me like that. I only have you with me."
"Woof!" I sobbed a little, but I noticed him gazing somewhere else. When I glance at a particular course, my eyes were widened in astonishment.
I stood up slowly, walking ahead in the area where I could see homes mysteriously hanging in the woods.
My mouth, I know it's wide-opened because of what I can see. Right this very moment.
"How is this even possible? This is a stunning landscape." Like before, I'm so enchanted by the beauty of this place. "Is this real?"
"Woof!" I glanced at Knite. He was the one who led me to this place.
"Thank you. Knite." curving a smile at him, he slightly tilted his head. He looks confused, but it's okay. You're still the reason why I made it here in this place.
"So then! Why don't we start asking the villagers in this place? They might know another way to the other realm." I was so enthralled by it that I began going down through it.
"I wonder if I could also approach these individuals in this place, or probably they are also looking-creatures." But I came to a halt as I remembered something crucial.
I gasped, "Woof?"
Blinking several times more. I've almost forgotten that I am a traitor in this realm—someone who has harmed the will and caused chaos.
"Hey, don't you think? If I were to go in that place, won't they go to chase me to bring me in the will? They just attempted that before, right?"
Then if I were to go, I don't think it'll be safe for me. I'm just wondering why in the world they can recognize me quickly. Did they saw me before? Fuh, I'm not sure, but I think my intuition is urging me to do something about it.
I stared at the dress, tore the outfit that I was wearing apart. I twisted it in my hair as I don't allow it to be seen by the naked eyes. I think this is how they can recognize me. Well, people in the palace can easily remember me because of my hair color. I guess the same goes for here.
"Okay. It's done. Let's go."
I eventually began walking down the trail towards the village.
The vines are also rainbow here, just like the three that the boy showed me. I'm not that astonished on it, just like before.
When I got to the crowded place, my jaw dropped open when I noticed that everyone here had the same hair color as me.
"A-are you kidding me?" I chattered to myself confusedly; how could someone has the same looks as me. I mean, they aren't that same, but they also have freaking white hair. Though, in the tip of their hair, they have strange hues. It's like they have two-toned hair color.
"W-what is this? Why do they have something as I have, are they also cursed? No… all of them are cursed?" but this is an enchanted realm; how could be someone curse people in one great deal.
I took a walk, "But this is so unique. The village, I mean. There are a lot of crowds; they are also merchants. What it's like was a normal town sworn by cursed people." I kept talking to myself because that's what I can do right now.
"What a lively place, though," I grumbled by then. I overheard some chatter among the people passing by.
"The Deity will come and going to visit later in the evening."

"Erm, who could be you?" one of the girls asked me, "Well. I am…" I'm not quite done introducing myself when the other person notices my attire and, well, my hair.
"What are you? You don't appear to be a local. It's horrifying to witness a filthy living person like you." How rude-
However, as I looked at their faces, I saw that they have unusual ears. It's as if their ears were the same as the monsters who shot me previously.
"Um! I'm from a different village. I'm here because I'm desperate to see the Deity." When I mentioned it, they gave me a slight grimace.
Did I irritate them? I can't seem to get enough of these creatures.
"So, how about it? What if we say yes, he'll be coming to see us? What can you do for us?"
Woah, what a cheap one. Just because I asked kindly, how can one treat me like this? I was lurking my eyesight in the surrounding when I noticed I was wearing a golden bracelet.

"Woah! I've never seen something that gleaming!" One of the females snatched it as soon as she could.
"So… Can you tell me about the Deity? And where could I find him?" I continuously intervened until I could get the exact answer that I wanted, "You will find him at the crescent pavilion. But take notes, he has a lot of militia around him because he is a holy being."
"Militia?" I've never encountered that word before.
"Yes, a group of warriors that protect the God. If you come across them with the right time, they may banish you to the Abyss, so be cautious."
Oh, it's pretty risky. "Thank you! I will keep that in mind. One more thing… when will he going to arrive in that pavilion?"
