As we woke up, it was Friday June 15th, we got up, got dressed, went downstairs, ate breakfast, then Landon grabbed his truck keys, we headed out, we got in his truck, buckled up, he starts the truck, pulls out of the driveway, drives towards the hospital. When we arrive, he parks, gets out, helps me out carefully, I was still sore from giving birth a week ago, we walked into the hospital as he locked his truck, we walked to the NICU. We signed in, walked in, picked up our baby girl,
She was perfect, a mix of Landon and I, I held her close smiling, a nurse looked at us smiling,
“She’s going to be discharged, just waiting on the doctor, until then you can sit with her,” she says.
Landon nods, “Okay, sounds good.”
