Chapter 148: 'Reign: 2'

In the middle of the dark street with only one lamppost lighting the spot where she was standing, Trish was waiting for Whifler to pick her up. She didn't bring her car since she rode with her uncle.

Strangely enough, Trish felt a little uneasy. She kept looking behind her and to her both sides. It seemed like someone was observing her or staring at her from a distance.

That someone's presence was too strong. Trish started to tremble while typing a message for Whifler, her heart was racing so much. There were still a lot of people coming out of the church but because of her popularity, she shouldn't mix with the crowd.

She was a little farther from the church because she shouldn't be noticed. Her appearance and head-turning entrance at the funeral were enough to recognize her. Thus, if the people found her, there was no certainty that she could leave without minor injuries.
