Chapter 126: 'Unrequited'

Harry was stupefied as he saw Amber heading towards a car with an envelope in her hand. She was covered with a scarf and her expression was unusual.

Harry slightly bowed himself to hide as he peeked at who she was going to meet. The car's window rolled down then a familiar woman walked out of the car.

Harry's forehead wrinkled in confusion staring at the two people in front of him. He didn't expect these two, to know each other. What were they talking about? And most importantly, what was inside the envelope that Amber handed to her?

The woman went back inside the car then she left. Amber was also about to go in but, she halted as Harry walked out of his car and stared at her intently.

"Nice evening, Amber. I haven't seen you in a while." Harry was leaning in his car while his arms were crossed.

Amber swiftly arranged the scarf, making sure it remained in its place. "Good evening to you. Uh. Yeah. It's been a while. Guess, we're both busy lately, huh."
