Chapter 47: Chapter 46: Reasons

On my way to the kiosk, I ran into Team Three with their rushed paces.

I tapped one of them on the shoulder to ask.

"Where are you heading to?"

The others continued on their way leaving him behind.

"At the HQ. The Commander wanted us to gather."

After catering to my question he hurriedly left to catch up with the others.

I'm assuming it's related to the information I reported about the Battalion.

Far ahead, I could already spot my team members in the kiosk.

"Raaaaaath!"

Geraldine's piercing high-pitched voice echoed throughout the whole place. She skipped from inside the kiosk to meet me.

I couldn't protect myself from her because she just pounced at me like a hungry wild boar and hugged me so tightly.

My chest f--king hurt!

But seeing how happy she is, I had no choice but to laugh and hug her back.
