Chapter 10: 009 Finals & Attack. (edited)
It was the day of the finals. I wasn't nervous at all. The pairings went like this.
Naruto V Neji
Gaara v rokuro
Kankuro v shikamaru.
Then there was the attack. I've convinced kankuro to help the leaf instead of attack because it wouldn't do us any good to attack our allies.
(A.N guys sorry im tired of the chuunin exams arc, so im going to just do about half of the battle between gaara and rokuro and then do the attack because im getting burnt out on writing the chuunin exam arc.)
Hayate Gekko: " Will Gaara Sabaku and Rokuro please come down from the stands."
Gaara does his sand flicker while i just jump down.
I grin at gaara as we haven't sparred in a while and this will be lots of fun.
"Begin!"
I whip out my kagune as i have my CL pushed to the edges of the arena. I run at gaara as i fire out the disorienting crystals from my wings. I know his sand will block it but that's just a distraction. I throw out a small piece of my chakra rod. The piece his his sand and the place it hit drained the chakra out of his sand making it fall to the ground. I rush at gaara and split my tail into two. I attack as fast as i can but he is defending very well. We hear a *BOOM* and i figure Pedomaru is attacking the walls with his hydra snake thing. I nod at gaara and kankuro as the three of us just start dismantling the sound shinobi forces. I sense Kakashi and Guy, and run over to them. They seem like they are about to attack and i hold up my hands as a show of peace.
"The sand and sound villages are attacking the leaf. Normally in this situation i'd be attacking you too, but i figured out the reason we were attacking you was because of some good ole' orochimaru manipulation. So right now we are on the same team and i'd like to help you on behalf of the Hidden sand village." I say before they attack me.
They look at me skeptically but ultimately decide to go through with it as they need help.
Kakashi replies with "Go help save the civilians and anyone in need around the village. And try to help deal with that big snake." Kakashi and guy went to defeating sound shinobi. I nod at gaara as he and temari go to help the civilians. I turn my focus on the big snake that was trying to eat our walls. 'Erm, A plan would be good. While i can take it out a plan should help minimize the amount of casualties.' I watch the snake as i think out a multitude of different plans to defeat the snake before finally deciding on one. Immobilize and kill. Easy enough right? No, i need to expend a huge amount of chakra to perform a jutsu on this scale but it should work.
I run to the snake and start heavily molding my chakra.
"Doton: Yomi Numa!" I yell out as i slam my hands into the ground, effectively creating a huge swamp under the deformed snake. Now for the kill. The question is should i drown it or burn it? I weigh the pros and cons in my head before deciding to burn the fucker. I whip out the biggest fire release jutsu i know
Katon: Hikaryuu!" I started spewing a huge stream of flames from my mouth burning the snake to a crisp. When its all burned i fall on my ass as im tired as hell, pulling out two giant jutsu one after the other. I might have a good amount of chakra, but after battling gaara, some sound shinobi, and using two big jutsu, im all tuckered out. I force myself up to start helping leaf civilians out of any predicaments they might be in. I saved a family from a collapsing house. An old man from a burning house, and a child from a sound shinobi. While im still looking for people to help, i start putting out the fires with some minor Suiton jutsu.(Water) The attack has mostly ended with no gaara attacking as Shukaku, and the hokage dead. Gaara and kankuro meet up with me back at the arena.
A couple days later a funeral is held for the hokage and all the civilians and shinobi that died in the battle. I can feel the gazes of the village on my team and I. I guess we aren't welcome, though, thats to be expected. We leave with Baki and travel for a few days to the sand village. A council meeting is held to declare Baki as temporary Kazekage until gaara is old enough for the position. Baki makes the three of us into chuunin because we saw through the deception and the manipulation.

I tap the yes button and i can instantly feel a change. Its not a painful one, but it sure is sinister. I can feel a new sinister chakra enter my body. I grab at the air near my face using this new evil chakra and a hollow mask is formed. I look at my status screen for any info i can get on it.

This mask allows you to access the very basics of hollow powers. This includes, A minor regeneration factor, A power boost, and Cero.
'Regeneration factor? Thats a very nice boost'
(A.N . He only heals with the mask on and it will take a while because the regen factor is minor only allowing a bit faster healing.)

Ok guys im sorry if it was rushed and for the late posting. I was getting super bored from the chuunin exams arc. Anyways im pretty sure that harry potter is going to be my next world. (Dont worry i wont seal his powers, that was a no from you guys) Some may be confused now but to the readers who were here when the chapters were unedited, Rokuro is no longer dating temari. Neither was she on his squad. For new readers, ignore this.
