Her hands were trapped within their bodies and she had no way to free herself. 

" What are you doing here? " she asked, annoyed. 

" I am here to pick up my betrothed of course. We are going to have breakfast. "

" I sent a message through Leonard explaining why I won't be having breakfast. "

" Your reason wasn't good enough for me. "

She scoffed, " I don't need your permission. "

He leaned in once more making her breathless with his intoxicating scent that seemed to frustrate her and make her dizzy with headiness. 

" Clarissa, Clarissa. How many times do I have to tell you that my word goes here? You have been a very bad girl " he said niping her on ear. His voice was like cool whisky that made one go crazy with intoxication.
