Chapter 135: Chapter 36

We're treated to a fine wine and dine dinner, on stage a beautiful, slender woman in a shimmering white dress sings, her voice luminous on every note. She distracts me more than once from the negotiations Frasier has been having with the guests at our table.

Indeed, they were here to buy and sell. 

Frasier bothers himself discussing terms with the man in the Power Armour and grinning woman, whereas I try my best fending off the man wearing little but loincloth as underwear.

Aside from the white of his clothes, every aspect of him is dark, he hums, leaning forward and gazing deep into my eyes. It's so much more uncomfortable when he asks, "Won't you come back home with me?"

An awkward cough is my only response, he tilts his head and presses for an answer, "Tell me, will you not join my country?"
