~~~(POV: Dr. Emile Hamlton)~~~
~~~(Location: Plosis Prime)~~~

My hands move faster than ever before, and the ship's launch sequence starts. The thumping and banging on the ship halts as I ascend into the atmosphere.

"HAAA! Take that. You sons of bitches!! I'm not getting caught today!!"

None of them can hear me, and I doubt the hard part is over. The endless ocean of stars fills my view, and I take a calming breath.

After composing myself, I prepare for a jump to a system I know is safe. Before that, I need to do something about this.

I stand up from my chair and head over to the console that connects to the intergalactic network.

I input the commands to start a recording, and now it's time to get all the important people to know about this before it's too late.

The recording starts, and I take a second to find my words.

"This is a Class-SZ emergency transmission to all governments and all galaxies. Teller-Bravo has unleashed an alien lifeform discovered on the Planet Heroor in a Primordium research facility. This Parasite has already spread to other worlds."

A Class-SZ transmission isn't cheap, but I don't care.

This message will go directly to the leaders all around the universe. Warning them about what we've found in Impyra. In our galaxy.

"I immediately urge a quarantine around the entire galaxy. I'm sending footage of what's known about the Parasite at this point."

My hands dance across the buttons, and I attach multiple files to my emergency transmission.

My eyes look back at the light, and it still shows I'm recording.

"Don't engage the Parasite in close-quarters combat without a Mech suit or drones. They feed and multiply from sentient beings, alive or dead. My name is Emile Hamlton, and I hope all the lives lost haven't been for nothing."

I end the recording, and I send it out. It tells me it's broadcasting all over the universe.

Now that the most important thing after ensuring my survival has been handled, it's time to get out of this system. I enter the coordinates for my destination, and I'm already traveling. I lean back in my chair and close my eyes.

"I can't believe that I've made it out... Again..."

It's... Man... I can't find the words. I'm the one that's making it out alive! The low clearance lab tech!

~~~(POV: Scott Autumn)~~~
~~~(Location: Immortalitas)~~~~

Durado couldn't get anything out of Larzacks before he died of blood loss, and now we're charting a course for the place that's holding his daughter. My eyes see the blue blinking light on the console to my left, and so does Durado.

"Who has the money to pay for a Class-SZ transmission?"

He walks up to the console and presses the button.

A tired and disheveled man appears in a hologram form in front of us. Class-SZ transmissions reach anything that picks up a signal, and they're only used for the uber-wealthy or government announcements.

The message plays, informing us of the dire state. Durado's expression goes dark. I click on some of the recordings and start to study the Parasite.

For some reason, I feel like I know what these are. My mental capabilities make it impossible for me to forget anything, but it's more instinctual... Like it's in my DNA...

"What do we do now, Durado... The place this Parasite was tested is the same place where your daughter is being held..."

He remains silent, and he walks over to the other consoles.

My eyes fall back to the recording, and I'll admit that I've never seen something so fascinating. The Parasite works in ways that make me see why The Primordium locked it away. It's an obvious deduction since this Parasite originated on Heroor.

"We're going to those coordinates, and I don't care how dangerous it might be."

With Immortalitas, it'll be easy.

I start to input the coordinates, but it denies the command.

"What the fuck!!"

Durado slams his hands on the consoles. I ask the ship's systems why it's denying us the jump there, and it doesn't respond.

"Fix this piece of shit, Scott!! I want to see my little girl!!"

The desperation in his voice is one only a father could have.
