Chapter 407: Chapter 15 - Bread and jam

The camp was set up crudely. they only had a small cloth that they spread before they sat on the ground and that young man found a few logs from somewhere to start the campfire.

Skyy watched all of this curiously. The way they started the fire was so primitive. They used a small matchstick.

After the guy was done, kindling the fire he asked for the matchbox.

The man simply stuffed it back in his pocket. "it's a fire hazard."

Pouting Skyy peered up at him. "Why not? I just want to try it."

"Come on Chen, don't be mean," Zara dug around his pocket and handed it to him.

Skyy smiled widely. "How does it work." He carefully took out a stick. The top of it was coated with some black stuff. He sniffed it slightly.

"don't eat it. You have to strike it at the box like this," she showed him how to do it.
