Chapter 2 Break
Inside the Boys changing room, Joe and Ben were just finishing getting changed as Josh walked in. Josh walked over to his bag and as he reached it Ben and Joe both patted him on the back and said "GG" The pair soon grabbed there bags and went outside the changing room and waited for Josh to finish.
A few minutes past and Josh walked out and saw the pair waiting for him outside and he asks "So Who's better, Darth Vader or Thrawn?" Joe quickly replies saying "Easy Thrawn." Ben thinks for a moment and says "Overall Thrawn, But in some cases as Vader's more flushed out you could say Vader cause he's a house hold name. but what do you think Josh?"
Josh looks up from his phone and says "Idk who Thrawn is tbh, So I gotta say Vader." Josh then shows them his phone with a Instagram post asking "Who's better Darth Vader or Thrawn?" Ben then says to Josh "Next time your round mine, Maybe on Saturday if your all free. We're gonna need to watch Star Wars Rebels seasons 3 and 4 with Josh it seems."
Joe nods his head and says "I should be free Saturday, and I've been meaning to watch it again but we need to start with the season 2 finale. Since that's arguably the best season finale in all there shows other than maybe Clone wars season 7 and that's just fact. Rebels Season 3 finale is up there too."
Ben just stood there nodding whilst Josh is stood there with a confused expression on his face and asks "What?" Ben then says "You'll see on Saturday." Josh then says sarcastically "Oh will I." As he Ben was about to say something the Bell went off and Mr Davis shouts saying "Leave, all of you and I'll see you next lesson."
The trio make there way into the Main hall that lies in the same Building as the English block. The main hall was Square with a few pillars scattered around and a stage at the far end next to the door to the cafeteria. The hall had some tables scattered around the place and chairs lined up in front of the stage. Enough chairs to hold an entire year group.
Joe, Josh and Ben all walk into the hall and head over to the back of the room and Joe and Ben sat on top of some tables, and Soon the 3 of them found themselves joined by a 4th person this mysterious person walks over to them and says "Hey guys what are we talking about today?"
Joe looks over and says "Hi Alex, Are you free Saturday?" Alex Looks at the others and says "I should be WHY?" Ben Quickly replies saying "We're going round mine and doing a Star Wars Rebels Marathon." Alex nods his head and says "Sounds good." Alex then walks in Close to the others and Quietly whispers "Have you heard?, There's 3 New Kids in our year?"
Josh looks at him and asks "No, What do you know?" Alex quietly says "Get this word is that there's a New boy and 2 new girls and the Boy is a massive nerd. Keep a lookout for him" Ben looks over at the clock and says "We got 5 minutes Should we start heading up to Geography Joe?"
Joe looks at the clock and says "No, Not yet Mr Jones is chill he won't be fused if we're a few minutes late." Ben looks at the clock and says "Yeeeah, Sure" With a anxious tone.
Josh soon asks "So did you guys see that new bird's of prey movie yet?" Joe shakes his head and says "Nope, Tbh I didn't even know it was out yet." Alex looks at the Pair of them and says "Bruh, The DCEU died with the cancellation of the Snyder Cut, The day the Snyder Cut and the Snyder verse is restored is the day I have faith in DCEU again."
Ben leans back on the table so his backs against the wall and says with a smirk on his face "What about this new James Gunn film that they bagged him for." Alex looks at Ben and with a Strong stare says "They may finally get something right with a suicide squad film that isn't just the Music choices. But Knowing James Gunn's Brilliant taste in music I think he might be able to beat it."
Josh shakes his head and says "Birds of Prey is pretty good." Alex points his finger at Josh and says "And Yet I hear that it's not actually a birds of prey film, It's a Harley Quinn film written to be a Birds of Prey film. It just shows that DCEU is lost without Zack Snyder there to bridge it out."
Joe steps in and says "I will admit that Alex is right. With Zack Snyder everything was there, it all meant something especially the nightmare scene in BVS. the last Good DCEU film was Aquaman and that was already in development under Zack Snyder's supervision I believe. So yes I agree with Alex the DCEU is like a Boat lost at Sea with no form of Navigation and just guessing going in Circles until it either sinks, Hits something or Runs out of Fuel. The DCEU Could theoretically outshine the MCU if the DECU got proper funding and had the right leadership someone who generally cares more for the story and the success than the profits."
Ben then says "He's right, DC are the OGs just look at the Dark knight trilogy, that is just proof that with good writing and a connected story and proper casting DC could put the MCU to the ground."
Suddenly the school bell Rings and Joe says to Ben "Now it's time to go" Ben rolls his eyes and the pair of them start to head upstairs to the second floor to Geography, Whilst the others head of to there subjects. On there way upstairs Joe says to Ben "Thanks for supporting me back there." To which Ben responds saying "You don't need to thank me, I supported you because you were right. Besides We got Mr jones now, I wonder if one of the new kids are in our class."
Joe looks at him and says "It's possible, I'm interested to see."
