Both of them are staring at each other in silence. The time ticked by slowly, and it felt like an eternity had passed. Thalia suddenly snapped from her reverie.
Izzat is leaning his body towards the wall with crossed arms. He amusedly eyed Thalia's reaction, his head tilted slightly. The girl seemed to realize an unimportant fact. That was the first time Izzat was reciprocating her intense gaze.
Thalia quickly put a distance between the two of them and lowered her head in embarrassment. Her face reddened. The red color spread out to the tip of her ears and the back of her slender neck.
"What do you mean by that, Thalia? See what?" Rather than answering her question, Izzat pretended he didn't understand Thalia's inquiry.
