Chapter 389: Chapter 385 – The Ice Phoenix

The blue egg was about the size of a football, with the ancient rune glowing brightly on its surface. The rune glowed even brighter when Jules and Bella caught the egg.

Queen Carolina looked at Azar and Alya. "Will it hatch now? Should we bring it back to the imperial palace and put it in a warm place and wait for it to hatch?" she asked hesitantly.

Azar and Alya shook their heads.

"Little brother will come out now, Grandmother," Alya said.

As if on cue, cracks started appearing on the eggshell. Jules and Bella moved closer, holding the egg securely between the two of them.

Everyone watched with bated breath as the cracks got bigger and bigger, and finally, a pale blue head poked out of the egg. The eggshell cracked fully and fell apart, revealing a baby bird. Then the broken eggshell glowed brightly for a moment and disappeared.

"An ice phoenix?!" Captain Shadow cried out in surprise.
