The Baron walked towards Ariel and caressed her hands.
▶Baron: "Ariel~ why don't you come back home? Huh~ your siblings missed you badly. Why don't you spend some time together as a family, it been so long since..." Ariel interrupted.
▶Ariel: "Don't worry I'll ask for them when things get settled." Said coldly.
▶Baroness: "Ariel~ are you going to get married to Duke Alix?!! But I think it's just too early I'm afraid that it won't be suitable, as you know you just got divorced, your reputation now is bad enough. I'm worried about you~" said with a friendly voice.
Lidia stepped closer to the baroness, covering Ariel behind her, and stood in front of the baroness.
▶Lidia: "Baroness Kaylee, you don't need to worry about that. Our family is powerful enough and more powerful than you think. Whoever talks bad about my sister they will lose their head. Also, I don't see it improper at all if my sister got married to Alix because anyway the prince and Carney will get married after today. So even if they registered their marriage now there won't be any problem. It's fair enough, don't you think so, baroness Kaylee?! "
Baroness laughed awkwardly.

Ariel, Alix, and Lidia walked out of the room with a pleasant facial expression.
Once they walked outside the Baroness shouted and slammed the table.

At the Duke residence Ariel, Alix, and Lidia took off from the carriage. Once Ariel walked through the entrance Arthur and the three triplets hugged Ariel.
▶Arthur + the triplets: "Happy divorce day~~!"
Ariel was surprised and speechless.
▶Ariel: "what..."
Ariel turned to Lidia, Lidia shook her head.
▶Lidia: "Not me!"
Lidia and Ariel turned to Alix. Alix ignored them and walked past them.
▶Alix: "I'm tired I'll go and have a nap."
Lidia grind and Ariel smiled faintly. Ariel was over the moon when she saw Arthur and the triplets. She smiled and laughed. She talked with Arthur and the triplets till midnight.
Arthur fell asleep while Ariel, triplets, and Lidia were chatting. Therefore, they decided to end the night and rest. Before Ariel goes back to her room, Ariel wanted to thank Alix so she decided to drop by Alix's room, which actually wasn't that far from her room. The door room was slightly open. She saw Alix was still working so she decided to make him some calming and relaxing herbal tea.
Ariel knocked on the door ×3.
▶Alix: "Come in."
When Alix turned towards the door, he saw Ariel holding the tray with a cup of tea.
▶Ariel: "umm... I saw you still working and stressed, so I thought of bringing you some calming tea... But if you don't want any..."
Alix took the tray and began to drink the tea.
▶Ariel: "umm... I wanted to thank you for today," Alix turned to Ariel.
▶Alix: "... You don't have to, I did what I have to do."
▶Ariel: "I see... Well, nevertheless, I still want to thank you. So... That's it, I'll leave you now."
Ariel turned to go back to her room, however, Alix turned Ariel towards him and hugged her.
▶Alix: "Back there, when the prince hugged you I didn't like it. I was jealous. And there are a lot more situations when I wanted to comfort you when you cry, to hug you when you felt lonely but I couldn't because it wasn't my place and I didn't have any right. However, now..." Alix looked at Ariel who was shocked by his sudden action.
▶Alix: "Now... Can I pursue you?!"
Ariel blinked her eyes then chuckled.
▶Ariel: "If you say it like that, how can I answer you! Besides who could answer this kind of question!" Said embarrassingly.
▶Alix: "... Then?!"
Ariel saw his troubled face and thought of teasing him a little bit.
▶Ariel: "What if I said no, would you stop?!"
Alix saw her teasing face and thought of teasing her as well
▶Alix: "Well, if you say so, then... I have to marry another woman."
Ariel's face changed. She wasn't happy at all. She thought (is that it?!) And made a disappointed face. Alix saw that and laughed. Ariel just realized it and felt embarrassed. She covered her face with her hands. Alix hugged Ariel.
▶Alix: "I'm just kidding, of course, I won't let you go till you agree. You have given me enough heartache."
▶Ariel: "You deserve it anyway."
▶Alix: "Yes yes, whatever, my princess says is right." Ariel looked at Alix.
▶Ariel: "Are you mocking me?!"
▶Alix: "I don't dare!" Both of them looked at each other and laughed.
After a week, the empress announced that there will be a party for welcoming Carney to the royal family as well as a congratulatory party for Carney who is having a royal heir.
All the nobles were happy about finally having a royal heir, however, not that happy knowing that Carney is the one who is having the royal infant. All the nobles know that Carney is originally a maid. At first, some people talked well, about her when they compared her personality with Ariel in the past. However, now that they know her real personality thanks to the Bisi family's influence and the replacement maids who actually were under the Bisi family but worked for Baron Miller house talk about Carney's attitude with them whoever they meet. After knowing Carney's personality and attitude, everyone in the society started to look at Carney with disgust and a mocking smile.
Thanks to the Bisi family's influence they have explained Ariel's situation and hardship and they cleared all the rumors which used to put Ariel in a bad reputation.
There were rumors about Ariel that she is an evil sister, a bad omen whoever comes near her dies, has no sympathy and crazy women who always hit her siblings and maids, who go around and sleep around with any men, incapable wife, and princess...etc.
To clear all those rumors not only the Bisi family helped Ariel clear it out throughout the events they attend but also Ariel has given her best and used her allowance to help the commoners. She helped the abundant orphans' houses to rebuild them. And ask for some noblewomen who like to do good deeds to contribute to teaching the orphans.
She created a charity club and company with noblewomen to help and support the orphans, the elders, and those who are in need. Whether it is food, illness needs to be treated but they don't have enough money, education, work...etc.
Ariel also helped to invest in talented small businesses owner. And built a skills development Academy for youngsters and elders.
By that Ariel changed people's impression of her. She tried to build all that despite the empress's interception. The empress always tells Ariel that commoners have no right and they don't need to have any of that. Because they are just commoners.
In Ariel's world, there was no magic so to run all these projects was extremely hard and complicated.
For the commoners, Ariel was the first princess who would think about them. So they had high hope for Ariel to be the next empress. All the past princesses have never thought about anyone else except themselves and their benefit, the only would attend luxurious events and parties. They would never come near the commoners. The one who usually solves their problem was always the crown prince, and because he was the only one who works, some cases take a very long time to be solved. However, when Ariel was the princess she helped to solve some of their problems in secret and she would also come and see the situation by herself.
After hearing the divorce news they were very sad and heartbroken, but Ariel has announced that she won't stop helping and that she would continue her activities and this time with the Bisi family.
The commoners didn't like Carney at all, not because she is a maid, but because of her treatment with them. When Carney would visit a shop by herself she would order people around and would scream and shout at them. And she would be very different when the Baroness comes with her. The commoners know Carney's personality and attitude.
So when some of them heard of the party news and her having a royal heir, they protested to take her down. However, not long after they stopped because the empress has threatened them.
Ariel heard about their protest and the empress's threat, so she went to them in person with Arthur and the triplets to comfort them.
Some nobles protested about the divorce and against promoting Carney as the crown princess, however the emperor and empress silent them with threats, and like that they couldn't do anything. The only one who could move the royal family is the Bisi family. However, until now The Bisi family hasn't said anything.
Carney was excited and happy about the party. She thought that the empress is spoiling her and is treating her with affection, but the truth was it was only for personal selfish reasons and plans. If Carney wasn't easy to manipulate, selfish, stupidly obedient and the most important had the royal heir the empress won't have accepted her either. The empress thought of getting rid of Carney once she finishes using her.
After the traditional ceremonies were done the party continued with music, dancing, giving gifts, and laughter. As soon as Kal was done with the ceremonies he left the hall.
Carney was annoyed by Kal's action but she couldn't care less because now she is the crown princess and the mother of the empire heir. Carney walked around talking to some nobles and all. Until three noblewomen showed behind Carney.
▶👩🏻: "Oh! Look who is that?!" Carney turned towards them expecting a greeting from them.
▶👩🏻: "Isn't she the MAID who stole THE CROWN PRINCESS place!!"
▶👩🏼: "Not only that! But she also dared to throw herself to his highness and cause troubles."
▶👩🏻: "Oh!! Is that true?! How dirty and filthy!! Umm... What they call this kind of woman?!"

Carney clenched her dress and teeth and was about to explode, she was so furious.

Kal heard of the news but he didn't bothers to check on Carney. The empress rushed to the room where Carney is.
The imperial doctor tried to help Carney but he couldn't. Carney was at her earliest stages of pregnancy which is the most sensitive stage, and she had fallen in an angel where it was dangerous for the fetus. He couldn't help Carney because the fluids water which helps the infant to stay alive in the mother's stomach is broken and she lost a lot of water which made the infant dies.
