Ariel clenched her fork and knives, trying to calm down and use her common sense. Ariel took a glance at Kal, but it seems like he isn't planning to say anything.
Empress: "What do you say, Lady Carney? Are you interested?! To tell you the truth I really like you lady Carney! I want you to have my royal grandchild! You see it's been a month and there is no news about the next generation's heir. How can we answer our dear netizens? I'm so worried about our empire's future~" said with a fake sad face.
▶Carney: "Oh~ your majesty must be so stressed~ I understand you, I also like your majesty! However, I'm afraid it's not fair and proper for the crown princess Ariel," said with a fake tear.
▶Empress: "What do you mean?!! You have the right to be a concubine or even the next empress. All you have to do is give birth to an heir for our prince Kal!!"
Ariel couldn't take it anymore. She felt that this situation is just ridiculous.

Lidia told the maids to prepare a room for her to rest.
▶Lidia: "Ariel how about you sleep over here or you could stay here till you cool down."
Ariel nodded her head. Lidia left Ariel to rest.
However, Kal followed her. Lidia tried to stop him but he pushed her. Kal bragged to the room.
Kal: "Ariel return!"
Ariel: "NO!"
▶Kal: "Ariel! Don't be so childish! I said return right now! You are married now and a crown princess! It's improper to stay in a man's place!"
▶Ariel: "OH! So YOU stay in other women's place is improper at all isn't it?!"
▶Kal: "sigh, Ariel! I don't want to argue with you. Let's go back together, alright?!"
Ariel ignored Kal and turned around.
▶Ariel: "Return by yourself. I'm not leaving."
▶Kal: "Ariel! It's your fault anyway! You shouldn't have said what you said! It's improper!"
Ariel turned to Kal and sneered.
▶Ariel: "Then what they said is proper?! Kal!! are you happy about turning this marriage into a joke?! And make me feel like the silliest person in the whole empire?! You really surprise me every single day! You really deserve the title of the perfect husband!"
▶Kal: "Ariel! I'm a crown prince the next Emperor! I don't have time for all this! I don't understand why do you like making a big deal out of trivial things! I don't understand, What's the problem now?!!"
▶Ariel: "What's the problem?! Didn't you just said that your the crown prince and the next emperor! Use your pretty brain in your brain and try to think what's the problem is!
Kal! Whenever YOUR mother insults me and belittles me, have you ever helped me?! Have you ever tried to protect me?! Whenever YOUR mother gives me problems, have YOU ever thought of talking to YOUR MOTHER?! Have YOU ever thought of giving me a hand?! ▶Kal: "Ariel!! It's because you are going against her will!! That's why she has to punish you like that."

Ariel's voice and Kal grow louder and louder.
Alix came back to the residence. Once he got out of the carriage he could hear Ariel's and Kal's voices from the outside.
▶Ariel: "Kal! Do you realize that since I have married you I couldn't rest at all??! I can't sleep, I can't eat, I can't even take my breath. You told me so many times that you would show me what's love is!! And that you would forever protect me!! Where?! Where?! 3 months Kal!! I'm your wide for 3 months and it felt like 3 generations of hell!! I tried to tolerate everything in order not to upset you!! But look at this!! Your highness always says that you ate busy and that you don't have time, but you sleep around happily! And your mother!! ▶Kal: "Ariel, you are overthinking!! You are the crown princess that's your duty!! Understand that!"
▶Ariel: "No, I'm not overthinking at all because what your mother is doing is extremely obvious! Crown princess you said?!! Would a crown princess go to the farms and pick up vegetables there?! Would the crown princess massage YOUR mother maid of honor?! Would a crown princess deliver letters?! "

Ariel sneered.
▶Ariel: "Great! So if it was not with Carney then you would pick another prostitute!!"
▶Kal: " Ariel!! You can't blame me! Blame yourself for not being able to serve your husband! Besides didn't you marry for the title! You wanted to be the next empress that's why you married me! Isn't that the truth?!." Ariel slapped Kal.
▶Ariel: "You are right! I married you for a reason and that is to deal with your brother's evil doing and for revenge but I also opened my heart to you and tried to make this marriage work for us! Title?! Empress?!! Let me tell you if you were a bagger and prince Val was your brother I would have married you also for the same reason, and I would have done the same thing! At first, I felt pity for your brother. Though he did all the bad things and evil things and was the reason why Alen passed away, I thought for a moment for a moment!! that maybe he had no choice and that he was blinded by greed and ambition. But now that I look at you and your royal family! I think that even if he had the choice or even if he could choose again he would do the same and will never repent and that because this family knows nothing but themselves!! "
▶Kal: "If that's so then be a wife like any wife who serves her husband and prove it! "
Kal stepped closer to Ariel and tried to force himself on Ariel. Alix had enough and stopped Kal. Alix pushed Kal away from Ariel.
▶Alix: "Get out from here right now!"
▶Kal: "You dare to chase me out?!!"
▶Alix: "Crown Prince Kal! Try me out and see if I dare or not to kick you out! Would like to go out nicely or do you want to lose your face and get kicked out by servants?!"
Kal clenched his teeth and walked outside.
