Chapter 50: He's Not My Dad!

The room became awfully silent that you could hear a pin drop. No one dared to say a word.

"Lucas, would you take your brother to watch something in the screening room? You can finish your dinner there." Mr. Knight said, his tone giving away that it wasn't a question but an order.

Lucas took Cayden's hands and dragged him out of the room, holding both of their plates in his hands. Cayden passed me a worried smile before leaving the room. Even a kid like him knows something is wrong without actually knowing the reason.

Easton severely reads a book while Daxton takes out his headphones on his neck and puts them on, no doubt having an iPod hooked up on there. Zachary started playing a game on his phone, and Cameron's eyes anxiously darted between his brother's and his father's, waiting to see what goes down next.
