Chapter 156: Heading to Barren Land

In the middle of Evan's journey towards the empire, he paused in a small lonely forest. He looked for a place far from the residential areas because he wanted to use telepathy to tell Velorina where he was.

Before they entered Capital City, Velorina had to be with him because in Capital City the guard would be stricter and it would be easy to spot if a dragon roamed the skies of Capital City.

Using telepathy he also knew Velorina's location which wasn't too far from him, and it didn't take long for the maid-clothed girl to descend from the sky into the deserted forest.

"As per your request, master. I came just in time." Velorina floated slowly and started to put her feet on the ground.

"No one is following you, right?" Evan was worried that Velorina's journey had caught the attention of the humans for not being alert.
