Chapter 88: Dark Ocean

Pirates are robbers who act outside all laws. They always commit crimes for their own benefit such as robbing merchant ships that pass through the oceans that they declare as their territory.

However, the pirates in Ocean Dark were different from the usual pirates. They knew that the Merchant Ship would not pass through the Dark Ocean which was always covered in storms and high waves, but they still chose the Dark Ocean as their territory. It was because the Dark Ocean Pirates had been blessed with Talismans by the Lord of the Dark Ocean that protected them while crossing the Forbidden Area.

Even though they didn't profit from raiding ships from merchants, they did gain a lot from crossing adventurers or imperial people to the Demon Continent.

"Then of course you're not going to drop us off for free, are you?" Evan understood the implicit message in the bearded Pirate's words.
