Chapter 11: Dissolving
Word of the clan forming brought different reactions, with the humanoids calling the nine founders fools while the heteromorphs were skeptical of the clans intentions and goals. This didn't faze the members however as their goal was to deal with PKers and recruit more members into their ranks.
(1 year and a half later)
It's been a while since the clan was formed, a year and a half had gone by with the founders of the clan, they had reached max level and become self-sufficient in rescuing victims of PKers.
With our reputation as a group of PKer killers, some people began to flock to our clan and soon we became large enough to cause fear to the humanoids but things went a bit south as Touch Me and the unknown clan mate had their argument a month ago
I did try to intervene but I was ignored thus we went from 26 members to 25 which made the atmosphere gloomy and sad. That said Touch Me seemed to have been very remorseful about the argument from a month ago, ever since that day he has been lost in thought. Though I had an idea on what he was probably thinking of doing so I waited.
Today was yet another clan meeting but there was a twist
[Red Emperor] PKers numbers have dropped by 57.6% since last month, we also have a lot of request to joining the clan, and recently humanoid guilds have been keeping a closer eye on us suggesting that they're afraid of our rapid growth in popularity
I explained the on going situations happening in Jötunheim as I was forcefully elected to be Second in command by my own clan mates with their reasoning being
"Touch Me is a World Champion so are you so help him out"
(A/N: I was thinking of changing it to world enemy since they're monsters and they are enemies of the humanoids)
Basically their idea is the strong lead while weak follow, which is obviously a lazy excuse to get excluded from selections and if that wasn't bad, they know I play this game 24/7 and whale my entire savings into this game
(A/N: Surprised? Yes he whales but I don't include those in these chapters so you can expect him have a lot of items)
[Red Emperor] And that's all I have for today, anyone else has something to bring up?
[Touch Me] Yes I have something to announce
[Touch Me] I'll be direct, I'm disbanding the clan
Everyone but me was surprised and shocked at his decision, Touch Me saw their reactions and quickly clarified
[Touch Me] I meant I'm only disbanding the clan so we can make a guild for ourselves
Hearing this everyone sighed in relief and HeroHero asked
[HeroHero] Will you be leading Touch Me?
[Touch Me] No not after what happened a month ago, but I do recommend Red Emperor as g-
[Red Emperor] Declined, Rejected, I nominate Momonga
[Momonga] Whaa- me?! Why me and why not you
[Red Emperor] Because 1. I'm a whale if you put me as guild master It'll be like putting the president as the general of an army 2. I rather be second in command and take over later. As for why I nominated you, you are devoted to the game like me, so I'm confident that you can lead us to victory
(A/N: terrible simile hope it makes sense)
[Red Emperor] I nominate Momonga as guild master who's with me
The clan mates silently discuss with each other, come to a conclusion, and raise their hands or slime to air. Once their decision was made Touch Me got their attention
[Touch Me] Well now that's over we'll meet here in a week and Momonga will take over for me…. Oh right I forgot what are going to name our guild, it can't be the same as the clans name
[Red Emperor] Easy just name it Ainz Ooal Gown, since it gives tributes to its predecessor
[Touch Me] Well anyone disagree with the name... No? Well then we shall now be known as Ainz Ooal Gown, we will see each other next week, Clan disbanded
Thus Nines Own Goal was dissolved, and Ainz Ooal Gown was created
