The heat of the explosion scorched my skin as I rode through the fire.

"Ugh!"

Parrot groaned as she covered her face with her hand to protect herself from the damning heat.

However, the agonizing pain only lasted for a moment as we soon came out of the fire.

"Are you mad?!"

Parrot yelled as I chuckled. My skin still ached from the burns, but it was bearable.

"I just had to choose the best option!"

I said with a smile as we rode through the empty road.

I could hear the cries and shouts of the guards behind us but ignored them completely.

"Where are we going?"

Parrot, who had somewhat calmed down and was now trying to get the scorched hair strands out of her head, asked in a slightly agitated voice.

"I don't know... Just far from here."

"... Alright."
