Chapter 70: First time **

Elias' apartment was one of the nicer ones by campus. It would take Alyssa multiple roommates to afford a one-bedroom there with the job she had.

She knew he didn't have a job or anything, so she couldn't help but wonder how he could even afford to live in this place with its hardwood floors, stainless steel kitchen appliances, and balcony. She could only suspect he came from a well off family.

Alyssa walked through the connected living room and kitchen, admiring the modern look of the apartment.

She did notice there were hardly any decorations in sight, though. There was only furniture, like a leather couch and a coffee table in the living room. She was pretty sure that she only saw a toaster in the kitchen.

"Nice place," she told him as she flashed him a smile. It was still far nicer than her dorm.

Elias smirked as he stood near a door.

"You haven't seen the best part yet," he replied.
