Chapter 108: Chapter 107 Justice
A week had surpassed since the government was publicly exposed and disbanded.
Article after article was daily reporting the aftermath of what was now seen as a public disgrace. However, the public's reaction was one of great surprised all around the country and around the world people protested for the equal rights and fairer treatments of omegas, along with tougher laws be put in place to protect them from acts of exploration.

With the strong public demand for justice and change the courts had no choice but to quickly set a date for the WuXain's and the others day in court. With all the allegations and evidence against them there was nothing their lawyers could do to see them out of their situation. In court Mimi WuXain took the witness box in a feeble attempt to cry her way out. Even Mrs WuXain concurred the plan to have her and her husband take all the blame on the hopes of seeing their precious MiMi free, but Dominic had foreseen this and ensured the judge whom was placed on their trial was non other than 'Lee Meng Su' the most faired and well renowned judge in the country, with the added personal touch of being the son of an omega male.
In less than three days the WuXains and the others were convicted on all counts of omega trafficking, sexual assault, kidnapping, murder, child endangerment, rape and money laundering. All imprisoned for life for their crimes.
On the day of sentencing a dishevelled and fuming MIMI WuXain screamed at Kang Lei as she was being dragged away, "you filthy omega, you think you've won, I promise you before I die that your death is my only purpose!".
Unfazed by MiMi's brazened comment Kang Lei smiled contently as his estranged sister was dragged away from his sight.
"Are you okay my love" Asked Dominic concerned that the day may have caused his beloved heartache.
With a simple nod Kang Lei confirmed "hmmmm, I couldn't be better" he replied taking Dominic's hand into his own.
On their way home Kang Lei wondered if MiMi's words had any backing. Yes she was sentenced to life in prison but that for sure wouldn't stop her from getting to him and Dominic.
"love don't worry, I promise she'll never harm you again, even if she wanted to" Dominic reassured reading a dazed Kang Lei's mind.
Turning to his head from the window of the car to face Dominic, kang Lei smiled softly, "you always know what am thinking…. I know I shouldn't be worried but you never know" he exhaled a little defeated.
A satisfied look appeared on Dominic's face, "i promise you, where she's going, the only thing she'll be able to do is breath on her own" he smirked
Kang Lei looked accusingly at Dominic "what did you do Mr Lanxian?"
Dominic wrapped his arms around Kang Lei looking into his eyes, "Well let's just say the government needed test subjects so I sent them some. Besides they need to serve a lifetime in prison, might as well spent it usefully.. no?" Dominic smiled quite pleased with himself.
Kang Lei shook his head in disbelief, "you're so petty my dear husband, I knew you wouldn't let them just rot in prison peacefully. (Light sigh) Let's just hope our children get my personality otherwise we'll be in big trouble".
"Haha I couldn't agree more, considering they have my Alpha X gene, maybe we should keep them at home till their trained"

"Hmmmm" Kang Lei agreed also, as took the moment to admire his handsome husband. For the first time in his life he was never more happy to be born a male omega.
