Breakfast should have been the time when everything was better, when family became one, when life wasn't actually so bad. 

However, as Amelia James sat at the breakfast table with her siblings, as they reminisced the happy memories with their parents, she couldn't take it anymore. She couldn't help but think of the countless ways she would murder the man she had loved innocently. 

She hated Alexander Garner and there was nothing that would change that. 

He had denied her the chance to grow old with her parents. 

He had denied her her first sweet sixteen dance. 

He had taken away a chance at a normal life for her, and sure, normal was boring, but Amelia wanted to experience boredom.
