"No problem. Anyone could have done the same," Lia said, before breathing out a sigh of relief. He was okay. He wasn't dying for her. That was all that mattered. 

Aiyana looked at Lia and for the first time, she wasn't sure what to say to Lia. She had just saved Alex, and was acting like all of this was part of her daily life. And the command to ensure there were no cameras? Damn.

Lia knew Damien would hack through any camera that had taken a photo of her when she said not to, and he would delete the photos. He would erase them off the internet if that was what their little sister wanted.

"My apologies. I guess we have to start again, yeah?" Lia asked and Iyana just nodded at her. She didn't know what to expect of Lia. All this time, the woman had so much power and she had never once used it on them. She had been a loyal girlfriend till she couldn't take anymore.
