"Heyy, look who's awake!" Carl shouted as Lia walked into the living room. He had wanted to go check on her earlier but had held himself back, having understood that maybe she just needed some alone time.

It wasn't hard to need one considering the circumstances they were currently in. Seeing his sister walk out made him happy. He jumped over the couch he was sitting on, before rushing to Lia and pulling her in a bone-crushing hug.

It was the hug that had more meaning than just a brother who was excited to see his sister. It was the hug that was meant to remind Lia that no matter what happened and no matter who she was up against, they would always be there for her.

It was a consolation of her broken heart, one that she wouldn't ever be able to act on, especially now that it seemed she had made her decision.
