"Where are you headed to Lexi?" Alex asked the question he and Ryan had but were too amazed to even ask.

"To the children's home," Lexi said and Alex choked on his water, spilling the contents on the papers he had been flipping through, not that it mattered right now. Ryan on the other hand was quick to help his older brother, as he punched the living shit out of Alex's back. 

"I'm sorry, what?" Alex asked, his voice rough from the intense coughing he had been doing a few seconds ago. it was almost like he had been drinking glass particles. His throat was already sore and he didn't feel too good, but his focus was on his twin.

"To a charity home. Y'know, the place where children are found and put in so they can be safe? The safe haven thingy?" Lexi responded excitedly like it was her life long goal to visit a children's home. That, or she had finally gone mental.
