Alexander needed a distraction even though his destruction was now looking back at him with the family fueled by revenge. A family that he knew would not stop and till they got their justice or revenge. He had never thought that the time would come for them to be together. 

They had always treated each other as enemies, so he had known that his secret was safe. He should have followed his gut when he felt like there were a million things that were wrong about Lia and Jill. But then they hated each other's guts. 

Just this morning Jill had treated her like trash and she had endured all of it. She had been mistreated and the CEO had done nothing. They were in trouble, and they knew it. Ryan knew they would never forgive him. 

He now understood why the siblings had been too close.
