Alex hated this. He hadn't even noticed Ryan and Lexi looking at him, worried about their brother, but even they knew that Alexander was a goner for Lia in that state. The only person who could snap him out of it was the girl he held onto for dear life. 

The girl in his arms who looked dead. 

The girl he seemed to be ready to follow to neverland. 

Even the media personnel and the crowd that had formed paved the way for Alexander. None of them said anything, just stood with their cameras recording, wondering what the fuck had happened in the building to break the strongest person they had all even known. 

This was the face of love. 

This was the face of a man so tormented by his own love that he needed freedom, yet his freedom depended on the girl he was carrying in his arms.
