She knew Amelia was hurting.

Maybe they would never get back together with Alex, maybe this was forever but no matter what happened, whatever the outcome would be, she would always be beside the girl that was hurting for a long time.

They were both damaged to the core. They were both hurting so bad. But Amelia had been her source of strength. The girl literally came back from the dead, hurt and broken but with even more enthusiasm to live and fight for the day.

She had never considered herself lonely in a world in which she had been alone all this while. She had embraced her pain.
