Chapter 69: A Prophecy of Worlds Unbroken Part 2

The grass tickles Noe's bare feet as he walks up the steadily sloping hill, stepping further towards Daniel's silhouette. 

Oxygen brushes against Noe's nose hair as he inhales, "Daniel?"

Daniel turns his torso to find Noe.

The breeze ripples through Daniel's loose farmer's garb and sunshine catches perfectly against Daniel's caramel lips as he smiles.

Captivated, Noe's knees weaken and his gaze melts. 

Rising to his feet, Daniel greets Noe with a hug as Noe reaches the hill's crest. 

With Noe and Daniel's embrace, the breeze quietens to give them room for greater intimacy. 

Daniel squeezes Noe's broad, comforting shoulders and whispers into his shoulder, "The past few days have passed as if in a nightmare - fragmented, confusing, lonely. I can't believe you found me here."

"Where you go, I go," Noe responds simply. "Thank you for letting me find you."
